Itinerary Details
Day 1: Hanoi – Cu Da Vermicelli Village – Mu Cang Chai. Homestay Mu Cang Chai (L/D)
Morning Activities:
Embark on a journey outside of Hanoi city with our guide and driver to Cu Da ancient village, located approximately 15km from the city center. A haven for peace-seekers, Cu Da village offers a nostalgic voyage, adorned with temples and pagodas designated as national heritage sites. The village boasts the unique craft of producing stunning yellow vermicelli, a traditional specialty in Vietnam. Indulge in the charm of this heritage village before departing for Mu Cang Chai. Head west of Hanoi on National Way No.32 to Nghia Lo district in Yen Bai province, with picturesque mountain views along the way. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant en route.
Afternoon & Evening Activities:
Continue the journey and make a stop in Tu Le to marvel at the impressive landscapes of mountains and valleys, as well as the beautiful rice terraces in the Tu Le and Van Ban district of Yen Bai province. Reach Mu Cang Chai, where captivating terrace rice fields and local life await. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a stilt house in Mu Cang Chai.
Day 2: Mu Cang Chai – Tu Le – Nghia Lo. Homestay In Nghia Lo (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:
Following breakfast at the stilt house, the morning is dedicated to visiting and photographing the Che Cu Nha Rice Terrace Field of the Hmong people. Explore and capture the beauty of Che Xu Phinh and La Phan Tan, recognized as a national landscape in 2007, boasting the finest terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai District. Return to Mu Cang Chai for lunch at a local food stall.
Afternoon & Evening Activities:
Depart Mu Cang Chai for Nghia Lo in the afternoon, providing the opportunity to explore the untamed landscapes of Nghia Lo. Admire beautiful mountain scenery and terrace fields, and traverse the renowned Khau Pha Pass, known for its spectacular views in North Vietnam. Check in at a homestay, share dinner with a local family, and engage in cultural exchange. Overnight at a stilt house.
Day 3: Nghia Lo – Hanoi. O/N In Hanoi (B/L)
Morning Activities:
Enjoy breakfast with the local family, savoring the fresh air and tranquility of Nghia Lo. Depart Nghia Lo to visit Suoi Giang Eco-Park, a part of Hoang Lien Son National Park and home to ancient green tea. Explore the tea garden, learn about Vietnam’s special green tea, and capture the picturesque surroundings.
Next, visit Hoc village, known for its natural hot-water stream, where travelers can enjoy a relaxing bath. Lunch is served at a local food stall.
Afternoon Activities:
In the afternoon, the guide and driver transfer you back to Hanoi city. Your trip concludes at your hotel in Hanoi. Bid farewell to our guide and driver, and spend the night at your hotel in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay On Alisa Cruise. O/N On Board (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:
Commence your journey as your transport vehicle picks you up from your Hanoi hotel, transporting you to Ha Long (a 3.5-hour drive). Midway, take a break in Hai Duong for refreshments.
Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor at noon, pause for a break and a welcome drink at Alisa Cruise Lounge before being transferred to Alisa Cruise.
Afternoon Activities:
Step aboard Alisa Cruise, savor a welcome drink as our cruise manager provides a brief introduction and safety guidelines for Alisa Cruise. Check into your cabin and embark on a cruise to explore Ha Long Bay.
Enjoy lunch featuring Vietnamese and International dishes while the cruise glides through the magnificent Halong Bay, offering views of the captivating rock formations in the bay.
Embark on a visit to Titop Beach, a renowned island in Ha Long Bay where you can swim, climb Titop Mountain, and capture breathtaking photos. Titop Mountain is a highlight and a fantastic experience on your Halong Bay journey.
Continue the exploration of HALONG BAY, passing by Cua Van Floating Village, Tien Ong Cave, Trong Cave, Ho dong Tien, and engage in kayaking at Pearl Farm.
Return to Alisa Cruise around 17:00 pm, relax, and enjoy the Sunset party with Juices, Cocktails, Red Wine, and fruits on the Panorama Roof Bar.
Evening Activities:
Participate in a cooking class instructed by the Chef of Alisa Cruise, offering the chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes like spring rolls or other famous Vietnamese cuisine.
Dine on the cruise at Alisa Restaurant.
The remainder of the evening includes leisure time, Beauty Spa Service, enjoying a night movie, playing games on the cruise such as cards, chess, karaoke, squid fishing, and an overnight stay on the Alisa Cruise at Titop Island or 368 area.
Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
Morning Activities:
Early risers can indulge in a Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the morning sun unfolds. Enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries for a light breakfast served in the dining room with a morning view of the bay’s landscape.
Continue your journey by transferring on the tender to Sung Sot Cave. Spend approximately 50 minutes exploring the cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, adorned with exquisite stalactites and stalagmites.
Check out around 9:30 am and relish brunch at Alisa Restaurant on board as the cruise sails back to the harbor.
Afternoon Activities:
Board the shuttle bus and transfer back to Hanoi city, with a stopover en route for a short break after a 2-hour drive. Bid farewell upon arriving back at your Hanoi hotel, and we wish you a delightful time!
