Established in the 10th century, Hoa Lu served as Vietnam’s inaugural capital. Renowned for its natural beauty, the region features limestone mountains, whose magnificence is frequently compared to that of Ha Long Bay. Indeed, Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are commonly described as the Ha Long Bay on land.

Detail Itinerary:

Embark on our one-day exploration of Hoa Lu ancient capital and Tam Coc, commencing in Hanoi at 8 AM. Following a 2.5-hour drive southward, we reach Tam Coc wharf. Boarding the boat during this tranquil period, we enjoy a peaceful journey along the river, passing through three tunnel caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba grottoes. These caves showcase stunning stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes and colors, resembling sparkling gemstones. After a 2-hour boat ride, we return to the shore for lunch at a nearby local restaurant. Subsequently, we visit the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, home to the two renowned temples of Kings Dinh and Le, before concluding our tour and heading back to Hanoi. The tour concludes around 6:30 PM.
