Many visitors to Vietnam frequently opt for a 2-day trekking tour in Sapa. This excursion encompasses exploring Sapa town, embarking on treks to various villages along the Muong Hoa stream, witnessing picturesque paddy fields, engaging with ethnic minority communities, and gaining insights into their unique way of life and culture. The itinerary also allocates time to explore Sapa market, visit Sapa church, and immerse oneself in the captivating evening ambiance of Sapa town.

Tour Itinerary:

Night 1: Begin your journey as our guide and bus pick you up from your hotel, escorting you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train heading to Lao Cai Station. Rest comfortably on the train in a soft sleeper berth within a 4-person cabin.

Day 1: Sapa Trekking Adventure – Explore Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages (B/L/D)

The train pulls into Lao Cai train station around 6:00 am. Our guide and bus will be ready to pick you up and transport you along a scenic route to Sapa.

Following breakfast, depart from the hotel and commence your trek downhill to the stream, eventually reaching the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai (a significant minority group in Sapa). From there, continue trekking along the Muong Hoa stream, passing through paddy fields, to reach Ta Van village. Explore and gain insights into the culture of the “Zay” ethnic people, observing their wooden and bamboo houses with clay floors. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the picturesque surroundings of the paddy fields. Return to Sapa in the afternoon.

Evening: Following dinner, take the opportunity to explore the enchanting evening atmosphere of Sapa town before settling in for the night at your hotel.

Day 2: Explore Sapa – Cat Cat Village & Ham Rong Mountain (B/L)

Commence your day with breakfast, followed by a 3-kilometer trek to the Black H’mong village, known as Cat Cat village. Discover the waterfall and the historic hydroelectric power station established by the French. Enjoy the scenic beauty of green forests and landscapes along the route before returning to Sapa town. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you’ll have leisure time to explore Sapa town, its market, church, or opt for a visit to the flower garden in Ham Rong Mountain. Later, a bus will transfer you to Lao Cai for the overnight train journey back to Hanoi, where you’re expected to arrive at approximately 5:30 am, marking the end of the tour.
