Itinerary Details

Experiences at Mangrove Forest & Thien Long Cave

At 8:00 am, our guide and driver will extend a warm welcome at your hotel in Cat Ba Town and transfer you to Phu Long village, renowned as the Land of the Dragon on the southwest of Cat Ba Island. As you traverse the trans-islet road, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the island’s landscapes.

By 9:00 am, you’ll arrive at Cai Vieng Pier and board a boat to explore the Mangrove Forest, visit a fish farm, and discover Thien Long Cave (Thien Long meaning Heaven Dragon, the largest cave on the island newly discovered in 1998). This presents a unique opportunity to marvel at the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites within the cave and pay a visit to the graves of ancient Vietnamese people who passed away thousands of years ago.

Return to the pier and then back to Cat Ba Town. Bid farewell to our guide and driver after a half-day of enjoyment and exploration of its distinctive features.
