Itinerary Details

7:30-8:00 AM: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and depart for My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

9:30 AM: Arrive at My Son Sanctuary and spend two hours exploring the site. Walk through the stunning landscapes, learn about its fascinating history with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoy traditional Champa performances. Afterward, return to the minivan and visit a local house to learn how to make rice paper. You’ll even get to enjoy the rice paper you make!

12:30 PM: Back in the van, head to another local house for lunch. Relax with cold herbal tea, delicious food, and the fresh countryside air. After lunch, enjoy a scenic boat trip on Thu Bon River, the largest river in Central Vietnam, as we head back to Hoi An.

1:30 PM: Arrive in Hoi An and return to your hotel to rest, or take a break at a coffee shop in the Old Town while preparing for your afternoon tour of Hoi An Ancient Town.

2:30 PM: Begin your exploration of Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting:

• Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, where you can admire ancestral worship and family altars.
• Historic houses like Phung Hung and Tan Ky Ancient Houses, which showcase well-preserved architecture.
• The Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House for vibrant cultural performances.
• The iconic Japanese Bridge, a 400-year-old symbol of unity between the Japanese and Chinese communities.
• Handicraft shops and art galleries featuring local craftsmanship.

Enjoy a delicious dinner with Hoi An’s specialty dishes.

6:00 PM: End your day with a peaceful boat ride on Hoai River, releasing flower lanterns to pray for good luck for yourself and your loved ones. Soak in the magical atmosphere of the lantern-lit streets and explore the bustling night market.

6:30 PM: Return to your hotel.
