Embark on a day of adventure through Central Vietnam’s most iconic landmarks! Explore the mystical Marble Mountains and climb to stunning views, visit Monkey Mountain for a dose of nature and culture, and step back in time at My Son Holy Land, an ancient Champa kingdom. A perfect mix of history, nature, and breathtaking scenery awaits you.

Itinerary Details

7:30 – 8:00 AM: We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and transfer you to Da Nang city (about 35km away).

8:30 AM: Our first stop is Monkey Mountain, where you’ll be amazed by the giant Lady Buddha statue set against a backdrop of stunning mountains and a lush bonsai garden. Take a stroll through this heavenly garden and enjoy the fresh breeze, while listening to fascinating stories.

10:15 AM: Arrive at Marble Mountains, where you can explore the local stone sculpture factories – one of the most impressive handicraft villages in Da Nang. We’ll then ascend to the top (elevator option available), where you’ll discover beautiful pagodas built in the 19th century by Vietnam’s last monarchy dynasty, and visit the Huyen Khong and Tang Chon caves.

11:30 AM: Next, head to the fascinating Am Phu Cave, the largest cave in the area. Here, you’ll learn about Buddhist philosophy and capture stunning photos of natural rock formations.

12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

1:00 PM: After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2:30 PM: Arrive at My Son Sanctuary, where you’ll have 2 hours to explore the ancient site. Walk through the landscape, learn about its history with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoy traditional Champa performances.

4:30 – 5:00 PM: We’ll head back to the minivan and transfer to the wharf for a relaxing boat trip to Hoi An. Enjoy the cool breeze and beautiful sunset views along the Thu Bon River, the largest river in Central Vietnam. Capture amazing moments as you observe local activities on the river. You’ll also get to try the famous Vietnamese Banh Mi on the boat.

6:00 – 6:30 PM: Arrive in Hoi An and we’ll drop you off at your hotel.

There are 146 steps up from the foot of Marble Mountain to the first stop (Xa Loi Tower) and then 136 steps up to the second stop (the cave system)

You can use the elevator for the first 146 steps (at your own expense)
