Itinerary Details

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (L/D)

Morning:
Savor your breakfast before starting your trip:

07:30 am: The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. Enjoy the scenic drive along the National Highway bordered by lush green rice fields.

09:30 am – 10:00 am: Arrive in My Tho and board a wooden motorboat for a 20-minute ride to Unicorn Island. As you cruise along the riverbank, you’ll pass natural creeks, bustling fishermen’s ports, and unique stilt houses (half on land, half over water).

Our first stop is a bee farm, where you’ll taste a delightful cup of authentic honey tea. Then, take a peaceful walk through quiet villages to observe the daily lives of rural people in the Mekong Delta.

Next, visit a seasonal orchard offering a variety of delicious tropical fruits. Enjoy these fruits while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music.

Continue your journey with a horse cart or electric car ride through the village, soaking in the tranquil rural scenery. Afterward, hop on small rowboats for a 15-minute ride along serene canals lined with water coconut trees. Experience the fresh air and picturesque surroundings—a perfect escape from city life.

Once you’ve had your fill of peace and quiet, return to the large motorboat for a different perspective. Cruise along a canal flanked by seasonal orchards, and stop at a village famous for its sweet coconut candies. Learn how locals transform coconut trees into a variety of useful and creative products, an integral part of life in the Mekong Delta.

Finally, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon:
After lunch, return to My Tho by motorized boat. From there, meet the bus and proceed to Can Tho.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy dinner. Spend your free time exploring the vibrant Can Tho Market.

Day 2: Cai Rang Float Market – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH

Start your day with a leisurely boat trip exploring the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River). Next, head to Cai Rang Floating Market, the most vibrant and lively floating market in the entire region.

Have you ever tried Vietnamese vermicelli soup? During the trip, stop to see how it’s made and learn about this local delicacy.

Continue to a local market where you can meet friendly villagers and stroll around to experience their daily life.

Visit the Southern Zen Monastery, Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, a stunning pagoda showcasing the distinctive Ly-Tran dynasty architecture. If you’re seeking peace and tranquility away from the bustling city, this serene place is perfect for calming your mind and connecting with Buddhist teachings.

10:30 am: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

Stop for lunch at Mekong Restop along the way.

About 4:00 pm: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.
