Day 1: Hanoi – Street Food Tour

Arrival in Hanoi
Upon landing at Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will meet you at the arrival lobby and transfer you to your hotel in the Old Quarter. During the 45-minute drive, you’ll receive an introduction to Hanoi’s must-visit destinations, culture, traffic, and culinary delights.
Upon arrival at your hotel, complete the check-in process and take some time to rest.

Note: Hotel check-in time is at 2:00 PM.

Street Food Tour
Time: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Embark on a 3-hour exploration of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, either by foot or motorbike, and savor between 5–8 authentic Vietnamese dishes, paired with at least three drinks (e.g., egg coffee, local beer, or bottled water).
This unique culinary adventure is guided by experienced English-speaking guides, offering a thoughtfully designed itinerary and diverse food options.

Highlights of the Tour:

• Start with a stroll to Hoan Kiem Lake, the vibrant heart of Hanoi, and head into the charming Bao Khanh Alley. Here, you’ll enjoy Bánh Cuốn (steamed rolled rice pancake) filled with minced pork, wood ear mushrooms, and topped with fried onions, served with fish sauce and fresh herbs. You can even try making your own!
• Pass the historic Hanoi Cathedral, constructed in 1884 by the French, and arrive at Hang Manh Street, famous for Bún Chả. This dish includes grilled pork, rice vermicelli, fresh herbs, and a tangy dipping sauce, often accompanied by crispy spring rolls.
• No Hanoi food tour is complete without trying Bánh Mì (Vietnamese bread), a famous cuisine originating from the French colonialism days. It’s a crispy baguette combined with diverse fillings like pork sausage (Giò Lụa), pate, pickles, coriander, cucumber, and grilled meat… to each person’s taste.
• Next, indulge in Phở (Vietnamese rice noodle soup). Nearly all international tourists visiting Vietnam seek the opportunity to savor a bowl of Pho in Hanoi. First Stop: Tran Quoc Pagoda (8:45 AM)

Our adventure kicks off at Tran Quoc Pagoda, a serene gem located on Golden Fish Island in the middle of West Lake. Built in the 6th century, it is Hanoi’s oldest pagoda and a spiritual haven. Stroll around, breathe in the calm, and let the peaceful vibes of this sacred place envelop you.

Ho Chi Minh Complex (9:30 AM)

Next, we step into the life and legacy of Vietnam’s most beloved leader, Uncle Ho. Marvel at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (if it’s open!), where you can pay respects to his embalmed body. Wander through the lush gardens and explore the two humble houses where he lived and worked. Don’t miss the unique One Pillar Pagoda – a tiny yet striking temple that stands as a symbol of gratitude and compassion.

Vietnam Ethnology Museum (11:15 AM)

Temple of Literature (2:00–2:15 PM)
Step back in time at Vietnam’s first university, established in the 11th century. Hoa Lo Prison Museum (3:15 PM)

Morning Pickup – Let the Adventure Begin

7:25 – 8:00 AM, we’ll pick you up right from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or at the Opera House. Hop on our comfy limousine bus, sit back, and enjoy the ride as our friendly guide greets you with a warm smile and shares what’s in store for the day.

10:15 AM, we’ll arrive at Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, where history seems to whisper from every corner. As you wander through the majestic temples and relics of the Dinh and Le dynasties, it’s easy to imagine the grandeur of life here centuries ago.

But that’s not all! The real magic happens when you hop on a bike and set off through the surrounding villages.
