Itinerary Details
Day 1: Land in Hanoi – relax after long flight
Landing at Noi Bai international airport, after collecting your visa and luggage, Moving outside and Our representative will receive you at the pickup point to escort you to the hotel. After a smooth check-in process (The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards), settle down in your comfortable room and de-stress yourself.
You can explore your own local sightseeing such as exploring the long standing history Hanoi, beginning with
– Ha Noi Train Street – Unique attraction where visitors can watch a train speeding by along a cramped thoroughfare.
– Ha Noi Church, The Opera House, then going around Hoan Kiem Lake and visiting Ngoc Son Temple, Ly Thai To Statue.
– Observe the Dong Xuan Wholesale Market
– Lotte Mall with Observation Sky Deck
Optional—— traditional Water Puppet Show, a unique northern Vietnamese art

Day 2: Hanoi hidden gem – Hanoi walking street food tour
Morning:
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. You will be greeted by our guide and driver at your hotel lobby or our meeting point for a safety briefing, we then begin our adventure.
On the first part of our Hanoi Jeep tour, we will take you to see the Hanoi Opera House – the biggest theater in Vietnam, which is also considered as a historical and architectural landmark as well as an attraction in Hanoi where a range of important events have taken place.
We expose you the REAL HANOI with a day in the life experiences, featured with the parts-unknown of the city with slices of life in the maze of backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets and black market, experiencing where & how locals live, work and play. Other travel companies just show you the beauty and tell you to run away from the bad and the weird of your destinations.
On Hanoi Jeep Tours’ journeys, not only do we show you the good but we also expose the bad and the weird of your destinations as it is what it is. On the second part of the Hanoi Jeep tour, we pass by & stop at the MUST-SEE places of our beautiful city. On the way we will pass through Ho Chi Minh mausoleum – the Mecca of Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, sacred place built to keep Ho Chi Minh’s body remained after he passed away so that he can somehow find contentment in seeing Vietnam united.
After that, we take you through the Thanh Nien street which lies between 2 beautiful lakes of Hanoi, one of the most beautiful streets of the city. Then we moved to banana island which we call The hidden charm of Hanoi where it is just about 3,4 km far from the center but the scenery is totally different from modern cities.
You have a chance to visit their farm, see the local’s houses, talk with local people to know about their lifestyle, enjoy the organic tropical fruits they grow by themselves and try the green tea.
After that we also take you to the peaceful & alluring out-skirt villages around West lake and Truc Bach lake to enrich your experiences about the contrast in harmony of life between the city center and the out-skirt. Then we went to visit and learn about Van Nien pagoda or also known as the 1000-year-old Buddhist pagoda, it’s one of the most ancient pagodas in Hanoi.
On the third part of the Hanoi Jeep tour, while we are traveling, you will see Hoang Hoa Tham, the most beautiful bonsai street in Hanoi, which will impress you with the fresh green trees and colorful flowers.
Our Jeep will take you go through the back street, see the small alleys of Hanoi as you would experience a hidden tranquil of Hanoi – B52 American aircraft which was shot down by Vietnamese people, a hectic of Hanoi with thousands of Skyscrapers in the new parts of the city. It is not only a ride but a journey that you would learn about Hanoi before, now and then.
On the last part of Hanoi Jeep tour, you will stop at different AUTHENTIC restaurants, eateries and food stalls to savor the tastiest of the tasty dishes of Hanoi including family heirloom & secret recipe dishes, local delicacies and specialties.

- Tour guides will take tourists to eat at lots of special corners , alleys and restaurants of The Old Quarter that you might miss if you go by yourself to try variety of street foods and drinks
- The tour ends at Hoan Kiếm Lake or anywhere convenient for tourists to return, and then tour guides will show them how to get back to your hotels/hostels if tour has more than 2 groups otherwise we will take you back hotels.
Day 3: Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu – Trang An – Hang Mua
07h30 – 8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the limousine transfer to Ninh Binh.
09h15: The limousine stops on the way for a 15 – 20 minutes short break for you to stretch your legs, use the facilities, or have a quick snack.
10h30: The limousine arrives in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from the years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of King Dinh and King Le and learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
11h45: It is time for a buffet lunch to enjoy local specialties in the private area of our Ninh Binh Heritage restaurant. The vegetarian option is also available.
13h00: Continue your trip to Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. While you’re there you can spend 2 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which has a wonderful tunnel cave system and appears in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”.
15h00: It’s time you get on the bicycle to ride around the local village and discover how amazing life is for the local people here.
15h45: Your next destination is Mua Cave, also known as the “Great Wall of China” in Vietnam. From the foot of the mountain, you can climb 500 steps to reach the mountain’s peak from where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the city and Tam Coc below.
17h00: Take private car directly to Hanoi Airport
19h00 – 19h30: Limousine drops you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
Day 4: Hanoi flight to Da Nang – chill in beach
Morning, after lunch, our driver take you to airport, check in flight to Da Nang
Land in Da Nang, our driver take you to hotel in Hoi An and have check in and relax.
Day 5: Marble mountain – Monkey island – My Son Holy land
7:30 – 8:00 am: We’ll pick you up at the hotel in Hoi An and transfer you to Da Nang city (around 35km).
8:30 am: Take you to the first stop – Monkey Mountain. A giant statue of Lady Buddha with a beautiful background such as mountains and a huge garden of bonsai would draw your attention. You will definitely get lost in the garden of heaven with gripping stories when gently walking and enjoying a fresh breeze.
10:15 am: Arrive in the Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Da Nang.
– Check in the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevator is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were made in the 19th century by the last dynasty of Viet Nam monarchy and visit Huyền Không and Tàng Chơn caves.
11:30 am: Keep going to see the biggest fascinating cave named Âm Phủ cave. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos of amazing natural creations.
12:00 pm: Have lunch at a local restaurant with local and authentic Vietnamese cuisines.
1:00 pm: Keep moving to Hoi An city for drop off and pick up the travelers and depart to My Son Sanctuary. – The World Cultural Heritage.
2:30 pm: Arrive at My Son Sanctuary and we’ll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.
4:30 pm -5pm : Get back to minivan then transfer to the wharf for taking a boat trip to Hoi An with a nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful sunset river scenery on the biggest river in Vietnam Central named Thu Bon River. Get your camera ready for the amazing moment of local people’s activities along the river. You will enjoy the Vietnamese Banh My on the boat trip.
6:00 pm- 6.30pm: Arrive at Hoi An, we will drop you at your hotel.
Evening free time.
Day 6: Cam Thanh Coconut jungle – Lantern making
About 9:00 – 9:15 AM. or 3:00 – 3:15 PM: The driver and tour guide will collect you at your hotel in Danang to start your journey to discover Cam Thanh Coconut Village & Lantern making class
You will visit craftsmen with skillful hands, showing you how to create brightly colored lanterns. Expertly guided you could make yourself a lantern as a gift to your family.
Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of Cam Thanh Village. Enjoy a relaxing boat trip through the beautiful coconut forest. Participate in traditional fishing activities and catch beetles with local experts.
Enjoy hands-on experience of round-net and cast-net fishing done by local fishermen.
Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat rowing
You will see the basket-boat performance.
Go to catch the crabs and drop the net.
Return fisherman’s house and joining the cooking show with fire performance of the master Chef (is there is the cooking class takes place)
Have lunch or dinner at a local restaurant. Enjoy lunch (7 local dishes) and mineral water.
12.30 PM or 6.30 PM: Transfer back to your hotel in Hoi An. Tour ends.
Day 7: Hoi An ancient town – boat ride – release lantern
About 2:30 pm: – Our guide will meet you at our hotel in Hoi An City Center and start the Hoi An City Tour.
– Firstly, you’ll visit Hoi An Market which is always bustling. It offers an unmissable shopping experience. This market is full of sights, colors, sounds and smells. Next to Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while visiting the family altar and watching local devotees making offerings. You will see remarkably well-preserved old houses: Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House – That have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all around the world. After that, going to Museum of Folk Culture in Hoi An – a display of artifacts depicting ancient local daily life in a 150-year-old Chinese merchant house. You will enjoy art shows at Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House.
– Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge spans a small waterway and was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.
– Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and artwork galleries. Discover smaller laneways and local neighborhoods gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.
– Dinner with Hoi An specialty food.
– Enjoy your time with the boat ride and release the flower lantern to pray for luck to you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street.
6.30 pm: Finish Hoi An city tour
About 7.00pm: Our guide will take you back to your hotel in Hoi An. Tour ends.
Day 8: Da Nang to HCMC – Tasty food tour by scooters
Morning, after breakfast, make check out, transfer to Da Nang airport – check in flight to HCMC (flight 1h30).
Landing at Tan Son Nhat international airport, after collecting your visa and luggage, Moving outside and Our representative will receive you at the pickup point to escort you to the hotel. After a smooth check-in process (The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards), settle down in your comfortable room and de-stress yourself.

Hold it tight! After picking you up by our scooters, we’ll weave through 4 Districts, bring you to awsome food stalls and hidden areas to enjoy the most authentic Food Tastings are included, must-try and prepared right in front of your eyes:
- First we gonna try Hu Tieu Nam Vang (Noodle soup)
- 2nd: Try our special specialty dish Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pancake) and roll it up with Grilled Beef wrapped in Betel Leaf
- 3rd Go to the oldest Apartment in District 3
- 4th Coffee in Communism house (Mini Cuchi Tunnel)
- 5th Sugarcane Juice in flower market.

Day 9: Mekong delta 2 days 1 night
Morning, make check out, you can leave luggage in lobby store
Explore tiny villages perched along tranquil tributaries, browse the goods at a colorful floating market, and taste silky sweet coconut candies washed down with honey tea. Tiptoe across a creative bridge, watch noodle makers at work, and see traditional folk music performed by locals on this 2- day tour.
At the appointed time (approx 07:30 to 08:30), our guide from Vietnam Travel Group will greet you at the hotel’s lobby before transferring you directly from Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy a scenic ride out of the city.
Watch rice paddies flecked with charming farms pass by as you make your way to the quaint fishing village of My Tho. Board a boat bound for the islands of the Tien River, and then cruise to Ben Tre to check out dense coconut groves. Taste decadent coconut candies and sip hot mugs of honey tea before grabbing a scrumptious lunch featuring freshly caught fish and river shrimp.
Spend your afternoon watching folk music performances and walking around the countryside. At night, take a quick ride to Can Tho where you can turn in for the night at a cozy hotel.
Day 10: Mekong back to HCMC
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, pack up your things, and head out to weave through the local vendors of Cai Rang Floating Market. Weave through rows of boats loaded with everything from fresh produce to vintage jewelry, browsing for souvenirs and haggling with locals as you go. Watch dextrous noodle makers create delicate vermicelli, visit a local village, and get the chance to test your balance as you cross the river on a bamboo span known locally as a “monkey bridge”.
After visiting the vibrant floating market, check out and disembark before visiting Con Son Islet, an islet in the middle of the Hau River that is divided from the mainland nearby and is home to year-round alluvial consolidating green orchids as well as the kind, affable, and enthusiastic people.
Lunch on this island, featuring a variety of dishes. After finishing the lunch, board the boat back to the mainland.
Do some last-minute shopping at Can Tho Market, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda and then take a final ride back to Ho Chi Minh City, where you can get dropped off at your hotel.
Day 11: Cu Chi tunnel ½ day – HCMC flight back to Hanoi

Escape the bustle of the city to explore the rural scenery and the famous Cu Chi Tunnels in Southern Vietnam. Step in the shoes of a Viet Cong fighter, as you climb through an impressive 155-mile (250- km) long tunnel network, and visit a typical gun shooting area.
Enjoy a convenient hotel pickup from your guide as you depart for Cu Chi. Along the way, watch as the frantic city scenery transitions to a more peaceful, rural setting. Witness passing rice paddy farms, quaint roadside vendors, and increasingly lush greenery.
Once you arrive, begin with a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, some of the most famous underground networks of pathways, hideouts, sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals, and Hoang Cam Stove. These narrow tunnels provide barely enough space for a single person to crawl their way through, though some are now wider to accommodate visitors. Also learn that the mere 10–13 feet (3–4 m) thick level of upper soil can support the bearing weight of a 55 ton (50 mT) tank and the explosive damage of bombs.
Following, watch an insightful film about the wartime experience before further exploring the tunnel’s trap doors and underground quarters. Then make a visit to huge bomb craters left from the war, the Garment-factory Ammunition and Souvenir Shops, and the Museum of Self-made Weapons. Get the exhilarating opportunity to fire a M-15, AK-47, and a carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range for a true wartime experience. Finally, the comfortable ride back to your Ho Chi Minh hotel at around 2:30 PM
