OFFICIAL LAUNCH: THE BACH SON SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

“Building Bricks, Building Dreams For Children in the Highlands of Ha Giang/ Tuyen Quang”

Some journeys don’t start with grand gestures. They start with the sight of an old classroom, faded by time. They start from the rugged mountain paths that children walk every day. And they start from the eyes of highland students who long for a classroom warm enough for winter and sturdy enough for the monsoon season.

After a year of waiting due to administrative transitions, today, Vietnam Local Adventures, in collaboration with the HOPE TEAM and our global community, is proud to officially restart: The Bach Son School Construction Project.

PROJECT LOCATION

Bach Son Village, Minh Ngoc Commune, Tuyen Quang Province.
(Formerly: Thuong Tan Commune, Bac Me District, Ha Giang Province).

In this remote area, the current classrooms—made of wood and bamboo—have severely deteriorated. In winter, biting winds howl through the cracks; in summer, rain leaks onto the students’ notebooks. While a sturdy school might seem ordinary to many, for these children, it represents a lifetime of opportunity.

PROJECT SCOPE:

Construction of 02 New Classrooms for kindergarten and preschool students.
Construction of 01 Teacher’s Room for resident teachers.
A New 200m² Playground for a safe and joyful recreational space.
Full Renovations: Upgrading the sanitation system, building security fences, a main gate, and refurbishing auxiliary facilities.

💰 Estimated Budget: 598,870,000 VNĐ (approx. $23,000 USD) (Every contribution – no matter the size – is a “pink brick” directly building a future for these children).

📅 TIMELINE:

May 09–10, 2026: On-site survey and finalization of construction plans.
July 2026: Official Groundbreaking Ceremony.
July – September 2026: Construction phase with weekly public updates.
Expected Sept 05, 2026: Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for the new school year.

Special Event: On the handover day, we will also host a free health check-up program and distribute over 100 gift sets (school supplies, uniforms) to the students.
