Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Bac Ha to Lung Phinh to Ta Chai to Pa Chu Ty (B/L/D)

Commence your journey as the local tour guide picks you up from Lao Cai Train Station, embarking on a picturesque drive to Bac Ha town. Begin your trekking adventure at Lung Phing Market, continuing until you reach Ta Chai village, the homeland of the Fula minority. In the afternoon, explore the habitat of the Flower Hmong in Pa Chu Ty, enjoying a leisurely first leg of your trek. The remainder of the day is dedicated to personal exploration. Day 02: Pa Chu Ty to Then Van to Lung Cai (B/L/D)

After breakfast, trek through narrow patches, traversing diverse landscapes to arrive at Then Van village. Further trekking to Lung Cai provides a deeper understanding of the traditional life of the Flower Hmong tribe. Spend another night immersed in the local culture.

 

 

 

 

Day 03: Lung Cai to Hoang Nhi Pho to Ban Gia (B/L/D)

Leave Lung Cai for a trek to Hoang Nhi Pho village, navigating through rice terraces, maize plantations, and nomadic villages. The highlight of the day is the cultural interaction in Ban Gia village, your final destination for the homestay.

Day 04: Ban Gia to Nan Ma (B/L/D)

After breakfast, proceed to the isolated village of Nan Ma. Although the trek involves ups and downs, the panoramic mountain vistas compensate for the effort. Tonight, be captivated by the diverse lifestyles of the Hmong people living not far from each other.

 

 

 

 

Day 05: Lan Ma to Lan Lung to Coc Pu (B/L/D)

Embark on an easier trek today, marked by the thrilling traverse through the Nung ethnic minority area. As you approach the relative civilization of terraced paddy fields, encounter various house tools like brick-making facilities and blacksmith workshops. Take a break at Nan Lung village, enjoying lunch in a local house before reaching the final destination of Coc Pu II village. Spend the night in a comfortable house in Coc Pu, inhabited by the Nung minority.

Day 06: Coc Pu II to Sin Man to Hoang Su Phi to Pan Hou Resort (B/L/D)

Following breakfast, embark on a three-kilometer walk to Coc Pai town in Xin Man district of Ha Giang province. Your car awaits to drive you to Sin Man, one of the poorest districts bordering Lao Cai province and China. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay at Pan Hou Resort.

Day 07: Hoang Su Phi to Tung San (B/L/D)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before being transferred by car to the starting point of today’s trek. Trek 15km through picturesque landscapes and local villages, with lunch served at a scenic spot. Continue to the Black Dao ethnic village of Tung San for dinner and overnight, where your host eagerly welcomes you into their home.

Day 08: Tung San to Dan Khao to Cao Banh (B/L/D)

After breakfast, commence your trek from Tung San to Dan Khao and then to Cao Banh. Enjoy lunch along the route, and have dinner and spend the night with the Black Dzao ethnic minority.

Day 09: Cao Banh to Ban Trang to Khuoi Hop to Ha Giang (B/L/D)

Leave Cao Banh and trek to Trang village, then continue towards Khuoi Hop. Upon reaching Len village in Viet Lam, transfer by car to Ha Giang. Spend the night in a lovely resort by the Ha Giang River.

Day 10: Ha Giang to Hanoi (B/L)

Embark on a scenic road journey to Tuyen Quang along the Lo River, turning onto the mountain road of Son Duong district. Witness palm trees dotting the rice fields along the way. Visit Tam Dao hill station before returning to Hanoi. Conclude your trip in the city center or at your hotel. End of services!
