Bai Dinh pagoda – Trang An – Tam Coc – Bich Dong pagoda & Hoalu temple 2 days tour

Itinerary:

Explore Trang An, an ecotourism gem situated in the eastern part of Ninh Binh, covering a vast expanse of 2000 hectares. The captivating caves within Trang An Eco Tourism Zone are nestled in Truong Yen Commune, Xuan Ninh, Ninh Hai (Hoa Lu district), Gia Sinh commune (Gia Vien District), Ninh Nhat, Tan Thanh (town, Ninh Binh). This expansive area of over 1500 hectares was unveiled several years ago, and in 2001, its intricate cave system was revealed through collaborative efforts involving research scientists and local communities.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi – Bai Dinh Pagoda – Trang An – Tam Coc (-/L/D)

8:00 AM: Our tour guide and car will pick you up from your location to start the journey to Ninh Binh province (120 Kms).

10:20 AM: Arrive at the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Vietnam featuring 500 La Han statues and the country’s biggest bronze Buddha statue standing at 10 meters in height and weighing 100 tons. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with specialties like Goat meat with elderberry and pork storage vessel.

1:00 PM: Depart for the Trang An tourist attraction. Embark on a boat trip to explore the cave complex, including Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou, immersing yourself in the mystery and wild beauty of the area. Witness the stunning landscapes of mountains and rivers, reminiscent of a terrestrial Ha Long Bay in Ninh Binh.

4:00 PM: Return to the car to travel to Tam Coc. Check into the hotel upon arrival, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Tam Coc.

 

 

Day 2: Tam Coc – Bich Dong – Hoa Lu – Hanoi (B/L/-)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then embark on a 2-hour Tam Coc boat trip to witness the breathtaking landscapes of Ninh Binh. During the boat excursion, visit three different caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba (meaning 1, 2, 3).

After Tam Coc, visit Bich Dong Pagoda, have lunch, and return to Hanoi. En-route, explore Dinh Temple and Le Temple in the Hoa Lu area.

4:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, and we will drop you off at your hotel, concluding our trip.
