Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Ninh Binh, featuring the pristine beauty of Cuc Phuong National Park and the captivating limestone peaks emerging from Tam Coc. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of urban life and embark on a two-day journey by bicycle through this enchanting region, offering a perfect blend of soft adventure and relaxation.

Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Cuc Phuong National Park (/L/D)

Embark on the Green Discovery Indochina adventure with our tour guide and driver picking you up from your hotel at approximately 8:00 am. We’ll then journey to Ninh Binh, a 2-hour drive away. Upon arrival, we explore Hoa Lu, an ancient citadel with a rich 10th-century history. Begin your cycling adventure on scenic countryside roads, passing through Hoa Lu and venturing into the limestone mountains towards Tam Coc. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes, cycling through rice paddies and charming rural villages before reaching Tam Coc. Delight in the fresh air and breathtaking views, and savor lunch at a local restaurant. After a brief van transfer, continue cycling through Ninh Binh, exploring the countryside for approximately 2 hours. Our next destination is Cuc Phuong National Park, where we load the bikes onto the van and transfer to the park center for the night. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a simple bungalow within the park.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park – Van Long Natural Reserve – Hanoi (B/L)

Start your day early with a morning walk, bird watching, and some invigorating cycling uphill into the jungles. While more challenging than yesterday, the effort is rewarded with the refreshing natural surroundings filled with bird sounds. Take a short walk to gain insights into the local flora and fauna before returning to the gate to visit the Primates Rescue Center.

After leaving the Rescue Center by minivan, head to Van Long, where lunch awaits. Enjoy a local bamboo boat ride (1.5 hours) through the captivating Van Long Nature Reserve in the swampland. Marvel at the limestone peaks, explore caves, and seize opportunities to spot various bird species and the Delacur langur. Conclude the tour with a transfer back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel around 6 pm.
