Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai

Commencing at 08:00, we’ll pick you up from the hotel lobby in Hanoi and transfer you to the Hanoi Railways station for the night train journey to Sapa. Enjoy the overnight ride on the train.

Day 2: Lao Cai Arrival – Sapa Exploration – Cat Cat Village – 2300m (B, L, D)

Accommodation: Home-stay

Upon arrival at Lao Cai railways station, we’ll transport you to Sapa town for breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, embark on a car journey, mostly downhill, toward Cat Cat village of the Black Hmong minority situated at the base of the Hoang Lien mountain range. The trek commences here, heading up the mountain. After a few hours of hiking, we pause for lunch by a river. Following lunch, we ascend towards the campsite at 2300m ASL, where we’ll spend the night in tents. Take a short walk around while dinner is prepared.

Day 3: 2300m – 2700m – 2900m – 2600m (B, L, D)

Today’s trek resumes after a hearty breakfast. Venture deep into the mountains and the untouched wilderness. After lunch, ascend towards the 2900m ASL peak. In the late afternoon, descend to the campsite at 2600m ASL, where we’ll spend another night in tents before the final ascent to the summit of Fansipan.

Approximate duration: 8 hours walking / 1 hour lunch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 4: Summiting Fansipan – Descend to 2800m (B, L, D)

Embark on an exhilarating journey to the pinnacle of Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina. After a challenging ascent lasting a few hours, reach the summit and revel in the unrivaled panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes, marking the triumph of your ascent. Following this triumphant moment, descend to a picturesque spot for a well-deserved lunch. Subsequently, continue the descent until reaching the campsite at an elevation of 2800m ASL, where the final night amidst the mountains will be spent in tents.

Day 5: Descend from 2800m to Tram Ton and Return to Sapa (B, L)

Today’s trek offers a more relaxed experience compared to previous days. After dismantling the tents, initiate the descent from the mountains, following the trail and stone steps crafted by Hoang Lien National Park. Pause for lunch before bidding farewell to the mountains. Arrive in Tram Ton in the early afternoon and board the car for the return journey to Sapa, completing the significant loop in the mountainous terrain.

Approximate duration: 30 minutes driving / 4.5 hours walking / 1 hour lunch.

Day 6: Leisure Day in Sapa – Night Train to Hanoi (B)

Spend the morning relaxing in Sapa town before transferring to Lao Cai railways station in the afternoon for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.

Day 7: Arrival in Hanoi

Between 04:00 and 04:30, arrive at Hanoi Railways station and transfer to your hotel, concluding our services.
