Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau Valley (L, D)

Start your journey around 7:30-8:00 AM as we pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and set off toward the serene Mai Chau Valley. Along the way, we’ll stop to meet the Muong people and take in the breathtaking view of Mai Chau from Thung Khe Pass—an unforgettable sight. Once we arrive, you’ll enjoy an authentic lunch with a local White Thai family, a wonderful chance to learn about their lives and culture.

After settling into your accommodation—whether it’s a homestay, bungalow, or hotel—you’ll have some time to rest before our afternoon bike ride. We’ll cycle through the beautiful, quiet villages of Pom Coong and Na Phon, where you can soak up the natural beauty and see how the Thai people live.

In the evening, unwind or join in preparing dinner with the hosts to get a real taste of local cooking. After dinner, you’re in for a treat with a lively performance of traditional Thai music and dance. Overnight, you’ll sleep in a cozy stilt house, adding to the authentic experience of this amazing place.

Day 2: Mai Chau Discovery – Hanoi (B, L)

Wake up to a simple yet hearty breakfast prepared by your host family before we set off on a gentle bike ride through the peaceful countryside. Then, we’ll start a scenic trek across terraced rice fields in Ban Buoc, wandering down quiet paths that lead us to the charming villages of Cum and Xam Khoe. Here, you can truly soak in the beauty of the landscapes and the warmth of the local culture.

Afterward, we’ll check out and enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant. You’ll have some free time to explore the local shops or just relax before we say our goodbyes at around 3:30 PM. As we make our way back to the bustling city, you’ll return to Hanoi in the late afternoon, carrying the memories of this unforgettable getaway.
