Perfume Pagoda Tour – Day Trip

 Itinerary:

Situated within the Huong Son Tourist Area, the Perfume Pagoda is nestled in an expansive landscape spanning a thousand hectares, characterized by a captivating blend of mountains, rivers, streams, villages, pagodas, and grottoes surrounded by the Huong Tich Mountain Range. This destination stands out as a prominent attraction in the Hanoi region and holds immense religious significance in Vietnamese Buddhism. The Pagoda itself is situated within a vast limestone cave, accessible after a brief trek following a serene boat journey along the Yen River. This experience provides the opportunity to gracefully navigate scenic waterways and ascend steep mountain paths, exploring the pagodas and temples that have graced this region over the course of centuries.

Tour Itinerary:

Embarking on our journey at 08:00 AM from Hanoi, we traverse quaint Vietnamese villages during a pleasant 2-hour drive until we reach the captivating Ben En area, situated within Yen Vi village. Boarding a small boat, we embark on an hour-long rowing adventure along the enchanting Yen River, basking in the tranquility and inhaling the rejuvenating air as the boat navigates through breathtaking landscapes. Witness the majestic limestone mountains emerging gracefully from the surrounding rice fields.

Upon reaching Thien Tru Wharf, we commence a rewarding trek to Thien Tru Pagoda, also known as Heaven’s Kitchen, housing the primary statue of Lady Buddha. For trekking enthusiasts, this journey offers an exhilarating experience of navigating the undulating limestone paths, culminating in the exploration of a cave at the trek’s conclusion. Returning to the restaurant adjacent to Thien Tru Pagoda, we savor the flavors of local cuisine. Subsequently, the boat gracefully transports us back to the car, and by approximately 06:00 PM, we return to Hanoi, concluding our day’s adventure.
