Travel Route: Hanoi – Pu Luong Natural Reserve – Ban Hang – Kho Muong Villages – Nua and Hin Villages – Son Village – Ton Village – Hanoi – Ba Be National Park – Cao Bang – Hanoi.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong – Tan Phuc – Trek to Ban Hang (-/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Commencing from your Hanoi hotel at 7:30 am, we head to Pu Luong Natural Reserve. Around 11:00 am, we begin a 2-hour trek from Phuc Tan village, reaching Hang Village. Lunch is served during the trek, and we spend the night in a traditional stilt house with a local Thai family in Hang village.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 2: Ban Hang – Trek to Kho Muong Village (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Post-breakfast, our trekking day starts with a 6-hour journey through a rocky path in the morning, followed by lunch in a village. Passing through Thai villages, we reach Kho Muong village for the night, staying with a Muong minority family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 3: Kho Muong Village – Trek to Cao Hoong Village (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

A full-day trek awaits, climbing to the Pu Luong range. Passing through small hamlets and minority villages, we descend to Cao Hoong, a Thai ethnic minority village. After lunch, relax in a stilt house and explore the Cao Hoong village. Overnight in a Thai minority village.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 4: Cao Hoong – Trek to Cao Village (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Embarking on a 6-hour trek through verdant countryside, the path winds through forests, rice terraces, and villages. Lunch in a Thai village precedes our arrival in Cao village. Spend the night in the Thai village of Cao.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 5: Cao Village – Canh Nang Town – Pho Doan – Hanoi (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, trek towards Ma River, enjoying scenic views. Visit the local market in Pho Doan Town before being picked up for the return to Hanoi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 6: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park Trekking (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Departing Hanoi at 8 am, we journey to Ba Be Lake National Park. Explore a spectacular cave, stroll along the riverfront, and experience the Tay family’s traditional house for the night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 7: Ba Be National Park Trekking (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Morning hike in the park, descending into a scenic valley inhabited by the Tay minority. In the afternoon, cross hills and pass Hmong and Red Dao villages, spending the night at a comfortable guesthouse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 8: Ba Be National Park – Cao Bang Trekking (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Drive to Ta Lung, starting a 15 km trek with breathtaking scenery. Stay in a village with Tay ethnic minority hosts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 9: Cao Bang Trekking (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Trek through minority hamlets, lunch in Dong Khe, and continue to the Red Dao settlement of Pac Khoang. Cover a 17 km trek to the Tay village of Na Pang for the night.

Day 10: Cao Bang Trekking – Hanoi (Breakfast/ Lunch/-)

Morning hike through villages, lunch in a local restaurant, and return to Hanoi by 5 pm.
