This market operates exclusively on Saturdays, providing an opportunity to encounter various ethnic minorities, including the Flower Hmong, Black Zao, Phu La, and Chinese communities. A notable feature of this excursion is the scenic boat journey along the Chay River, coupled with a brief stroll leading to a captivating Tay village.

Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai

Day 4: Hanoi – Arrival

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi – Night Train to Lao Cai

Commencing at 8:00 PM, we will pick you up from the hotel lobby in Hanoi and transfer you to Hanoi Railways station for the night train journey to Sapa. Overnight accommodation will be on the train.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Explore Can Cau Market – Sapa (B, L)

Around 06:30, upon arrival at Lao Cai Railways station, you will be warmly welcomed. After breakfast at a local restaurant, we embark on a drive to Can Cau market. The road from Lao Cai to Bao Nhai bridge is relatively flat. Once we cross the bridge, the journey uphill unfolds with picturesque views of the valleys. Situated 20 km from Bac Ha, Can Cau market, open only on Saturdays, offers a colorful spectacle of Flower Hmong, Black Zao, and Phu La ethnic costumes. Following a morning of exploration, we depart for Bac Ha town for lunch. In the afternoon, we head to Sapa town for check-in and relaxation.

 

 

 

 

 

Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Lao Cai – Night Train to Hanoi (B, L)

This morning, we escape the hustle and bustle of Sapa town, descending to Cat Cat village. En route, we pause at a waterfall and a hydroelectric station before continuing our trek on a dirt trail amidst rice paddy terraces. The journey provides spectacular scenery along a narrow river. Upon reaching Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong minority, enjoy a rest with a picnic lunch. Post-lunch, we venture into Muong Hoa valley, passing through Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong and Tavan village of the Giay minority via a popular trekking route. Subsequently, we transfer back to Sapa, collect luggage from the hotel, and proceed to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight accommodation will be on the train.

Approx: 0.5-hour driving / 5 hours walking / 1-hour lunch.

Day 4: Hanoi – Arrival

Upon arrival at Hanoi Railways station, we extend a warm welcome and transfer you to the hotel. The trip concludes.
