The Ha Giang Loop is an exhilarating 3-day, 4-night adventure that takes you through some of the most stunning and untouched landscapes in Vietnam. From winding mountain roads to ancient villages, lush valleys, and jaw-dropping viewpoints, this trip is perfect for those looking to experience the raw beauty of northern Vietnam. You’ll explore Ha Giang’s natural wonders, visit local markets, and immerse yourself in the unique cultures of the Hmong and Tay ethnic groups. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or a culture enthusiast, the Ha Giang Loop offers something unforgettable at every turn.

Itinerary Details

Night 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang City

7:30-8:00 pm: The adventure begins! Hop on the sleeping bus at your hotel in Hanoi, and relax as we head north. Enjoy a comfy overnight journey.
4:00 am: We arrive in Ha Giang city, where you’ll check in at Hong Hao Hostel for a few hours of rest before we begin the loop.

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van Town (135 km)
8:00 am: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hostel.
8:30 am: Meet your guide, and let’s hit the road to begin our loop!

• Ride through the Bac Sun Pass, where the mountains greet you with their towering beauty.
• Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate, and take in the panoramic views of the valley below.
• Visit the iconic Quan Ba Twin Mountains, a symbol of Ha Giang.
• Continue through the Can Ty Pass, and take in the breathtaking mountain vistas.
  Lunch in Yen Minh town: Rest and refuel with a delicious local meal.
• Ride through Tham Ma Pass, a thrilling road that snakes through dramatic landscapes.
• Explore the Hmong King’s Palace, a stunning architectural gem.
  Arrive in Dong Van Town: Check into your hotel, and then enjoy some free time.
  7:00-7:30 pm: Enjoy dinner in Dong Van town, and feel free to take a leisurely stroll around the charming Dong Van Ancient Town.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village

8:00 am: Breakfast in Dong Van (if it’s Sunday, don’t miss the vibrant Dong Van Sunday Market).

• Ride the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful mountain passes.
• Pass through several picturesque Hmong villages along the way.
  Lunch in Meo Vac or Mau Due Village: Take a break and enjoy a delicious local meal.
• After lunch, get back on your bike and head toward Du Gia Village.
• Stop at Sa Li Pass, Lung Ho Viewpoint, and the stunning Du Gia Waterfall.
  Check-in at a local homestay in Du Gia Village, where you’ll stay with a welcoming Tay ethnic family.
  7:00-7:30 pm: Dinner at the homestay, and relax under the stars after a full day of adventure.

Day 3: Du Gia Village – Lung Tam Village – Ha Giang City

8:00 am: Breakfast at the homestay, with gorgeous mountain views to start your day.

• Visit Du Gia Market (if it’s Saturday).
• Stop by Duong Thuong Viewpoint for more unforgettable views.
• Explore Lung Tam Village, famous for its traditional hemp weaving.
  Lunch in Tam Son Town: Enjoy your last meal on the loop before heading back to Ha Giang.
  3:30 pm: We return to Hong Hao Hostel, where you can rest before your journey back.

Night 4: Ha Giang City – Hanoi

7:20 pm: The bus picks you up from the hostel to head back to Hanoi.
3:00 am: Arrive back in Hanoi, where your unforgettable Ha Giang Loop tour comes to an end.

Note: We also offer different bus options in the evening for your convenience, including a VIP/ Limousine Bus at 4:00 pm or a Hotel Bus at 5:00 pm. Just let your guide or the hostel receptionist know if you’d like to switch buses!
