Itinerary Details

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Ham Rong Mountain. Overnight in Sapa (L)

Morning Explorations:

Upon your arrival at Lao Cai train station, our guide, holding a sign with your name, will welcome you. We then transfer to Sapa (a 1-hour drive), followed by checking into the hotel for refreshment, a shower, and breakfast.

After breakfast, your exploration of Sapa begins with a guided walk around the town. The first stop is the local market at the town center, followed by an uphill journey to the top of Ham Rong Mountain for a panoramic view of the town and its surroundings. Shaped like a dragon’s head, Ham Rong Mountain is a captivating tourist destination that seamlessly blends natural and man-made beauty in the heart of Sapa.

Afternoon & Evening Leisure:

Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, and spend the night at the hotel in Sapa.

 

 

Day 2: Ta Phin Village – Silver Waterfall (Fall For Lovers) – Tram Ton Pass. Overnight in Sapa (B/L)

Morning Adventures:

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Around 09:00, depart for Ta Phin Village. Our guide and bus will pick you up, leading you to the valley’s center for a scenic walk, tracing the village’s winding paths. Ta Phin Village, situated approximately 17 km from Sapa Town, is surrounded by mountains and picturesque rice terraces. This village is home to both the Red Dao and H’Mong ethnic groups, coexisting, sharing the land, and preserving their traditional tribal cultures.

Afternoon Explorations:

Return to the hotel for lunch at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, continue your journey to visit one of Vietnam’s most beautiful passes. Stop at the Silver Waterfall before reaching the summit of Tram Ton Pass. At 1900m, it is Vietnam’s highest pass, often referred to as Heaven’s Gate due to its breathtaking landscapes resembling a gateway to heaven. Drive back to Sapa town for relaxation.

Evening Leisure:

Enjoy free time for the remainder of the day before dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day 3: Explore Muong Hoa Valley – Lao Cai (B/L)

Morning Discoveries:

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up to explore the magnificent Muong Hoa Valley, located south of Sapa Town. Revel in the scenic drive along the only road through the valley, built on the side of a mountain range, offering elevated views across the valley.

Marvel at the glorious landscapes, featuring mountains, deep valleys, winding watercourses, waterfalls, and terraced rice paddies. Stop along the main road for a short walk down to visit tribal villages, including Ta Van (Giay), Su Pan (Black H’Mong), and Ban Ho (Tay). Meet locals in their homes, witness their daily activities, and enjoy a picnic lunch in the village.

Afternoon Activities:

Return to the main road around midday and travel back to Sapa Town. Freshen up and prepare for your departure.
