Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Cat Ba Island & National Park Bird Watching. O/N In NP (L/D)

Morning Activities:

Commence your day at 8:00 am as our guide and driver warmly welcome you at your Hanoi hotel. Journey to Hai Phong and proceed to Cat Ba Island, with a continuation to Cat Ba National Park. Check in at the National Park’s hotel and enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Gain insights into the national park and venture to Kim Giao Forest within Cat Ba National Park. Trek to the Ngu Lam Summit, surrounded by rainforest showcasing diverse flora and fauna, including Vooc and the rare yellow head Vooc. Capture the chance to observe birds along the trails and travel to Trung Trang, a location ideal for bird watching. Conclude the day with dinner at the National Park and an overnight stay.

 

 

Day 2: Cat Ba National Park – Viet Hai Village. Homestay In Viet Hai (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

Start your day with breakfast at the National Park, followed by room check-out. Embark on a trek through the forest, heading to Ao Each Primary Forest and eventually reaching Viet Hai. Encounter wild animals and birdwatch along the route. Arrive in Viet Hai village around 12:30 pm, check in at the homestay, and enjoy lunch with a local family.

Afternoon Activities:

Explore Viet Hai village, immersing yourself in the community’s culture and lifestyle. Learn about the village’s two access routes: trekking through the forest or arriving by boat. Continue your journey to Hai Quan Summit tourism route for further exploration. Return to the homestay for dinner and experience the local way of life. Overnight at the homestay.

 

Day 3: Viet Hai – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Town – Hai Phong – Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Begin your morning with breakfast at the family’s homestay. Ride a bicycle from Viet Hai village to the pier, where you’ll board a cruise for a 4-hour exploration of Lan Ha Bay. Engage in activities such as swimming and kayaking, reveling in the bay’s natural beauty. Enjoy lunch at Nam Cat Resort in Lan Ha Bay.

Afternoon Activities:

In the afternoon, the driver picks you up at Ben Beo Pier, transporting you back to Cat Ba town center. Continue the journey to Hai Phong and then back to Hanoi city, arriving around 18:00 pm. Bid farewell to our guide and driver, concluding your memorable journey. Happy travels!
