Itinerary Details

Day 1: Trekking Cat Ba National Park. O/N Homestay In Viet Hai Village (L/D)

Morning Activities:

Commence your day with a warm welcome from our guide and driver at your Cat Ba Town hotel at 8:00 am. Transfer to the National Park with a visit to Hospital Cave en route. Embark on a hiking adventure at Cat Ba Jungle, exploring the mountain rainforest for 5 to 6 hours. Delight in bird watching, sightseeing the primary forest, and marvel at Frog Lake while enjoying a picnic lunch.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Continue your trek to Viet Hai Village, encountering native wildlife such as cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, butterflies, and, if fortunate, the elusive Cat Ba Langur. Arrive at Viet Hai village, take a leisurely walk, and settle in for dinner and an overnight homestay experience.

Day 2: Viet Hai Village – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island (B/L)

Morning Activities:

After a hearty breakfast at the homestay, depart the village and board a cruise. Navigate through Lan Ha Bay, passing the floating fishing village and exploring a fish farm to learn about the daily lives of local fishermen. Cruise to Ha Long Bay, unveiling its less touristy yet stunning landscapes. Indulge in a delightful lunch on the boat.

Kayaking 1.5 to 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover the Bat Cave and Dark Cave (Hang Ca).

Afternoon Activities:

Engage in swimming at the secluded sandy beach of Ba Trai Dao lagoon, with optional snorkeling available for an additional charge. Return to Cat Ba Town by a different route, savoring more picturesque scenery. Arrive in Cat Ba Town around 5 or 6 pm, bidding farewell to our guide and driver.
