Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island. Overnight in Cat Ba Town (L/D)

Hanoi – Cat Ba Island

Morning Activities:

Commence your day by leaving your Hanoi hotel at approximately 7:45 am, embarking on a journey to Cat Ba Island through the Hai Phong highway. Upon reaching Got Ferry, board an Express boat to Cat Ba Island and travel to Cat Ba town.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and check into your hotel.

Afternoon Activities:

The afternoon is yours to relish the charms of Cat Ba town and indulge in relaxation and swimming at Cat Co Beach I, II, III. Conclude your day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Evening Activities:

Savor the free evening, taking in the enchanting sights of Cat Ba Town and strolling through the island’s nightlife. Overnight at a Cat Ba Island hotel.

Day 2: Full Day Cruise Lan Ha Bay (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Beo Dock. Begin the cruise by sailing to Cai Beo fishing village, passing through Monkey Island (non-stop). Traverse to the heart of Lan Ha Bay, featuring unique karst towers and emerald waters. Explore a family fish farm at Di San Floating House, capturing a photo of the colossal “Happy fish.”

Continue the cruise through magnificent landscapes, anchoring at Dau Be Island. Kayak at Ba Ham Lake, discovering a hidden lagoon with striking stalactites (tide level-dependent).

Option 2 (high wave): Cruise through Cua Van Floating Village, passing Rang Dua Island, Frog Island, etc. Followed by kayaking through Dark Cave and Bright Cave.

Enjoy lunch with seafood and traditional Vietnamese dishes while cruising. After lunch, anchor in a chosen area, providing time for relaxation and engaging activities, such as jumping from the top of the boat or swimming at Ba Trai Dao Beach.

Afternoon Activities:

Continue the cruise back to the harbor, reaching the dock around 4:00 pm. The driver transfers you back to the hotel. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

Evening Activities:

Enjoy more leisure time in the evening, exploring Cat Ba Town independently. Overnight at a Cat Ba Island hotel.

Day 3: Short Trek in Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Commence the day with breakfast at the hotel. Venture to Cat Ba National Park for a brief trek, exploring the park’s natural wonders. Visit Trung Trang Cave, ensuring to contact a ranger for accessibility. Bring a torch (flashlight) for the cave’s dim interior. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon Activities:

The driver transfers you to the harbor for an Express boat journey back to Got Ferry. Upon arrival, the driver greets you and transfers you back to Hanoi via the highway. Reach Hanoi around 4:30 pm. Bid farewell, wishing you an incredible time at your next destination!
