Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

Morning Activities:

Embark on your journey from Hanoi city to Hai Phong city, with two travel options to choose from:

Option 1: Opt for the economical express route from Hanoi to Hai Phong and then take a speedboat to Cat Ba Island.

Option 2: Choose a private car from Hanoi to Hai Phong, proceeding directly to Cat Ba Island by car.

At 10:00 am, you’ll reach Bến Gót harbor (Cát Hải Island) and board a speedboat bound for Cat Ba Island. Enjoy a delightful 10-minute ride to Cái Viềng pier on Cat Ba, providing picturesque views of the sea and the jungle aroma of Cat Ba National Park.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Arrive at Cat Ba Island, indulge in a lunch featuring traditional and fresh dishes, and receive a quick briefing before boarding the cruise. Explore the floating fisherman’s village in the afternoon, a vibrant community where fishermen and their families live and work.

Continue your journey with a serene paddle through stunning scenery to the Eco Bungalow on a private island, where you’ll check in to your private bungalow. Spend time swimming, relaxing, and taking in the views, followed by dinner at the restaurant.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Three Tunnel Lagoon – Three Peaches Island. O/N On Junk (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel and embark on a day of discovery in Lan Ha Bay on a cruise. Enjoy kayaking through the bay, exploring breathtaking islets and caves while immersing yourself in peace and tranquility.

Lunch awaits at Three Peaches Island, known for its crystal-clear waters and natural beaches.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Continue the afternoon by visiting Three Tunnels Lagoon and Cave, providing opportunities to explore temples, floating farms, and secluded lagoons. The junk will anchor in Lan Ha Bay for an overnight stay, with dinner served on board.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village. O/N On Bungalow (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

Have breakfast on the junk and depart for Cat Ba Island to experience the majesty of Viet Hai village. A cycle ride through beautiful forests and mountains leads to the National Park, covering 50% of the island.

Choose to relax in the village, experiencing rural life, or embark on a two-hour trek offering breathtaking views over Halong Bay. Lunch is served at a local family’s residence.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Continue the trek in the afternoon, returning to the bungalow on the beach. Check in, shower, and relish a barbecue dinner outdoors.

Day 4: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Enjoy breakfast at the bungalow with two travel options:

Option 1: Kayak to Monkey Island, visit the Fishing Village, and indulge in swimming.

Option 2: Take a water taxi to Ben Beo pier, where our van will pick you up and transfer you to the center of Cat Ba National Park. Visit Quan Y Cave, once a hospital during the American war, and hike to Ngu Lam peak for a jungle view panorama. Have Vietnamese cuisine for lunch at a restaurant in town.

Afternoon Activities:

In the afternoon, transfer back to Hanoi city, arriving around mid-afternoon. Wishing you a fantastic 4-day journey exploring Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island!
