Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi to Ha Giang – Mossy House Phuong Do & Homestay (L/D)

Morning Activities:

At 7:30 am, depart from your Hanoi hotel with our guide and driver for Ha Giang Province, known for its stunning mountain landscapes, terraced fields, and vibrant flower seasons. Pass through Viet Tri and Tuyen Quang in the famous Red River Delta region. Enjoy picturesque views and visit a tea plantation in Tuyen Quang. Lunch at a local food stall.

Afternoon Activities:

Continue the journey to Ha Giang, where a permit is required. Admire the beautiful mountain landscapes and pass through breathtaking valleys and passes. Arrive in Ha Giang in the afternoon. Visit Khuoi My Hamlet in Phuong Do Commune to explore the unique Mossy House, a village with the only type of house of its kind. Stay at a local family’s stilt house.

Evening Activities:

Dine with the local family and enjoy their food. Take a leisurely walk around the village and immerse yourself in its beauty. Overnight at the stilt-house.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Mossy House – Quan Ba – Nam Dam Village (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

After breakfast, spend more time exploring the village and experiencing the local culture. Return to Ha Giang and visit Khuoi My Hamlet in Phuong Do Commune to discover the unique Mossy House. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon Activities:

Continue your journey to Quan Ba, passing through Bac Sum Pass, one of the most attractive passes in Ha Giang. Admire the stunning mountain landscapes and visit Heaven Gate Quan Ba, Twin Mountain in Quan Ba, and the Nam Dam Village, a famous tourism spot in Quan Ba. Visit the Nam Dam village museum. Check in at a homestay. Enjoy dinner at the homestay and spend the night.

 

Day 3: Quan Ba – Tham Ma Pass – Dong Van (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

Start your day with breakfast at the stilt house. Enjoy the fresh mountain air around the homestay.

Afternoon Activities:

Bid farewell to the family and leave Quan Ba for Dong Van. Pass through Tham Ma Pass, known for its spectacular and attractive scenery. In Dong Van, explore an imposing pine forest in a Hmong village and visit H’Mong Vuong Duc Chinh Palace (Vua Meo Palace), a historic site. Have lunch on the way.

Evening Activities:

Explore Dong Van ancient town, check in at a hotel, dine at a local restaurant, and interact with local minority people. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Bao Lac (B/L/D)

Morning Activities:

After breakfast, visit the crowded Dong Van center market to learn about the local minority people and their products. Visit the Lo Lo Hmong village to experience the local way of life.

Afternoon Activities:

Travel along one of the most spectacular roads in Vietnam, including the Ma Pi Leng Pass, which offers breathtaking views of valleys and terraced fields. Enjoy a boat trip on the Nho Que River and soak in the stunning mountain scenery. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Leave Dong Van and continue to Meo Vac Valley, explore the village, and then head to Bao Lac Town in Cao Bang Province. Check in at a homestay and spend the evening exploring the village and its night life.

 

 

 

Day 5: Bao Lac – Ha Noi (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Start your day with breakfast at the homestay, allowing you to savor the refreshing atmosphere in the surroundings. At 8:00 am, be ready as our guide and driver pick you up directly from the homestay for a journey to the lush forests of Ba Be National Park, covering an approximate distance of 150 miles (230 kilometers).

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon Activities:

Following a visit to Hua Ma Cave, commence your return drive to Ha Noi. Relish lunch at a local restaurant along the route. Anticipate reaching Ha Noi around 5:30 pm, reflecting on the wonderful experiences of your trip. Wishing you joy in your travels!
