Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi Cyclo City Tour & Bat Trang Ceramic Village (L)

Morning Activities:

Embark on a captivating cyclo tour with our guide, exploring the heart of Hanoi. Traverse the vibrant 36 Old Streets, capturing the essence of local life and the bustling cityscape. Visit the historical Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and follow the scenic route along West Lake. Pause at a local restaurant for a delightful lunch experience.

Afternoon Activities:

Venture out of Hanoi with our guide and driver to Bat Trang, a renowned handicraft village. Located 13 km southeast of Hanoi, Bat Trang boasts a heritage of handmade ceramics and pottery spanning nearly 500 years. Wander through the village lanes, visiting both traditional and modern kilns, witnessing the intricate process of crafting ceramics. Try your hand at shaping clay or painting raw items before exploring workshops and indulging in some shopping. Return to Hanoi with the evening at your leisure to savor street foods and embrace the city’s nightlife.

Evening Activities:

Enjoy the freedom to wander the streets, relish street foods, and experience the enchanting Hanoi night. Unwind at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Lan Ha Bay. O/N On Era Cruise (L/D)

Morning Activities:

Embark on a shuttle bus departing from Hanoi around 9.00 – 9.30 am, heading to Hai Phong for the tour’s commencement. Note: Shuttle bus cost is not included in the cabin quote and should be booked separately if desired. After a 2-hour highway journey, reach Got Ferry approximately by 11.30 am.

Afternoon Activities:

Board our luxurious Era Cruise, welcomed with refreshing drinks after the road trip. Attend a compulsory safety procedures session and settle into your cabin. Enjoy a leisurely look around the vessel or marvel at the mesmerizing landscape. Relish a delectable lunch featuring fresh seafood and favorites as the cruise sets sail for Lan Ha Bay. Explore Da Chong islet and pass through Cua Van area to enter Lan Ha Bay, surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Engage in activities like kayaking, swimming, and beach exploration. Return to the main boat by 5.00 pm and cruise to the overnight anchorage. Indulge in happy hour specials from 5.30 – 6.30 pm.

Evening Activities:

Participate in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration, guided step-by-step for creating delicious appetizers. Delight in a Signature Dinner in the cruise restaurant. Enjoy free time for relaxation, savoring exotic cocktails, or engaging in various activities on the cruise. Day 3: Dark & Bright Cave – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi. O/N In Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Activities:

Awake early to relish the fresh air and witness the enchanting sunrise over Lan Ha Bay, creating an indelible memory. Partake in the daily Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck, followed by a leisurely cup of tea, coffee, or fruit juices of your choice anywhere on the boat. Embrace the unhurried moments to marvel at the ever-unfolding scenic wonders of the bay. Around 7.00 am, savor a light breakfast in the restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee). Venture out to explore Dark & Bright Cave and islets via local rowing boats, immersing yourself in the wild and mysterious beauty amid the World Heritage site. Return to the main board after the exploration.

Check out of your cabin at 9.30 am as the cruise sets course back to the mainland. Enjoy a final early brunch, and by 11:30, board the tender to return to the wharf, where your return trip vehicle awaits to transfer you back to Hanoi.

Afternoon Activities:

For those with shuttle bus bookings, depart from the Pier at 12.00 pm, returning to Hanoi with the guide and driver. Arrive in Hanoi around 14.30 pm, bid farewell to the driver, and use the remaining time to explore more of Hanoi at your own pace (shopping, tailor visits, strolls, etc.). Evening Activities:

Evening marks your free time to delve into new experiences in Hanoi, such as savoring street foods or enjoying Bia Hoi (fresh beer). Retire for the night at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Ninh Binh/ Ancient Village – Mua Cave – Hanoi

Commence your day by departing from the hotel in Ninh Binh at 8.00 am with our guide and driver, heading to Lang Co ancient village. Explore this village, featuring well-preserved houses showcasing traditional architecture. Immerse yourself in the unique charm of the village while gaining insights into Vietnamese culture and house construction practices. Enjoy lunch at your own leisure.

Afternoon Activities:

The afternoon unfolds with a visit to Mua Cave, guided by captivating stories from our guide. Embark on a climb of 500 stone steps to the cave’s summit, offering panoramic views of Tam Coc cave and the striking landscapes, including the awe-inspiring Ngoa Long Mountain (Dragon Mountain) along the way to Mua cave. Capture breathtaking photos of the mountainous terrain, countryside, and the scenic Ngo Dong River. Optionally, depending on weather conditions, the itinerary may flexibly shift to a visit to Trang An grotto instead of Mua Cave. Subsequently, bid farewell to Trang An and return to Hanoi.
