Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai. Overnight at Topas Ecolodge (B/L)

Commencing the Journey:

The evening prior, embark on the night train from Hanoi to Sapa. At 20:30, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi, transporting you to the train station for the night train to Sapa. Departing at 21:30 on an AC Soft sleeper coach with 2 berths, the night unfolds aboard the train.

Morning Exploration:

Meet at Lao Cai Train Station with our guide and driver, transferring you to Sapa town. Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant after refreshing at a mini hotel following a night on the train.

Embark on a trek from the terrace fields in Muong Hoa valley to Lao Chai village, visiting the Black Hmong people and traversing the picturesque landscape along the footpath. Have lunch en route.

Afternoon & Evening Delights:

Continue the trek to Ta Van, traversing the most beautiful terrace fields in Sapa and gaining insights into the Giay and Red Dao minority people. Enjoy the exciting experience along the trekking route. The driver picks you up at Ta Van village on the main road, transferring you to Topas Ecolodge, approximately 26km away. Check-in at the hotel.

Enjoy free time to soak in the surroundings of the resort, relishing the sunset over the hill, providing a delightful experience. Dinner is at your leisure, and overnight at the hotel.

Trekking route: 10km ~ 5 hours

Day 2: Topas Ecolodge – Hiking to Lech Village – Sapa – Lao Cai – Night Train Back to Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Expedition:

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel and marvel at the morning scenery at Topas Eco Lodge, taking in the breathtaking views from the high hill.

Embark on a hike to Lech village, the home of the Red Dao minority people. Follow the road for a while before descending towards a river. Traverse rice paddy terraces and relish the magnificent valley view. Cross the river via a stone bridge and follow a trail ascending to the village. Spend time experiencing daily life in the village. Lunch is served en route.

Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Delve deeper into village life, observing the women doing embroidery in their doorways. Return to the lodge around 17:00.

Our driver meets you and transfers you back to Sapa, proceeding to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi. Spend the night on the train.
