As the Victoria train is unavailable, we will utilize the Sapaly train or a similar option with a VIP Cabin for this trip.

Itinerary Details

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Love Waterfall- Sapa. Overnight at BB Sapa Resort (B/L)

Setting the Stage:

The evening prior, embark on a night train journey from Hanoi to Sapa. At 20:30, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and transfer you to the train station for the night train to Sapa. Departing at 21:30 on an AC Soft sleeper coach with 2 berths, the night unfolds aboard the train.

Morning Exploration:

Greeted at Lao Cai train station around 6:30 am, you are transferred to Sa Pa. Upon arrival, savor breakfast and a refreshing morning shower after the night on the train. Begin your day by visiting the Silver Waterfall, the highest in Vietnam at 300m. This iconic spot offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and is a year-round attraction, often visited by monks for prayers.

Continue the journey for an additional 3km to Tram Ton Pass, the highest road in Vietnam at around 2000m above sea level. Despite the cool or even cold temperatures, the breathtaking views make it an ideal location for exploration and capturing stunning photographs.

Afternoon & Evening Delights:

Extend the drive by 3km into the jungle to reach the Love Waterfall & Golden Stream, offering a captivating experience with the beautiful waterfalls in Sapa. Return to Sapa town and explore the market, Sapa church, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this renowned town.

The evening is yours for dinner at your leisure, and you have free time to discover Sapa’s nightlife. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Sapa – Trek Lao Chai – Ta Van Village – Sapa. Overnight at BB Sapa Resort (B/L)

Morning Adventure:

Following breakfast at the hotel, relish the morning ambiance in your preferred manner. Travel to Lao Chai village, the home of the Hmong people, to commence the trek through scenic paths, marveling at the beautiful terrace fields and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy lunch en route.

Afternoon & Evening Exploration:

Continue trekking on footpaths to reach Ta Van village, passing over the small suspension bridge and witnessing the Muong Hoa river. Encounter the Red Dao minority people, immerse yourself in their culture, and delight in the nearby waterfall for a refreshing experience.

Our driver awaits you at the main road of Ta Van village, providing transportation back to Sapa after an 8km trek through the villages.

The evening is yours for a free dinner and leisurely exploration of Sapa town. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Extended Trek in Cat Cat Village & Ham Rong Mountain. Night Train Back to Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Exploration:

Maximize your experience in Sapa town with a sunrise at BB Sapa Resort on a sunny day. Enjoy breakfast and unwind by the inviting swimming pool. Embark on a brief trek to Cat Cat village for a deeper understanding of the Hmong people and the enchanting terrace fields.

Witness the beauty of a cascading waterfall and traverse a scenic footpath for breathtaking views. Return to Sapa town for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon & Evening Delights:

Continue your exploration of Sapa by ascending Ham Rong Mountain. Visit the Flower Garden, which changes with the seasons, and reach the Heaven Gate for a panoramic view of Sapa town veiled in mist and clouds.

Climb back to Sapa town, where the driver awaits to transfer you to Lao Cai train station for the night train journey back to Hanoi. Spend the night aboard the Victoria Express train.

Arrive in Hanoi the following morning around 5:30 am, where our driver welcomes you at the train station and facilitates an early check-in at your hotel.
