Itinerary Details
Day 1: Sapa – Ta Phin – Phin Ho – Lu Khau – Suoi Thau. Homestay In Suoi Thau ~ 17 Km (L/D)
Morning Activities:
Commence your journey from Sapa town with our guide and driver, heading to Ta Phin commune, the residence of Red Dao and Black H’Mong minority people. Immerse yourself in the local lifestyle while traversing footpaths and soaking in the picturesque scenery.
Embark on an uphill trek, experiencing the natural wonders of Sapa. This 2.5-hour trek takes you through mountains, bamboo forests, lush valleys, and breathtaking rice terrace fields.
Arrive at Phin Ho village, closely connected with Ta Phin and Ban Khoang commune. The Ban Khoang valley unfolds a magnificent panorama. Relish a delectable lunch with a local family in the village.
Afternoon & Evening Activities:
Embark on an afternoon downhill walk, passing through the enchanting Lu Khau terrace fields. Explore the homes of Red Dao and Blue H’mong minority people. Visit a salmon farm, a European import now thriving in Sapa, Vietnam. Trek along a footpath to Suoi Thau village, home to the Red Dao people, where you’ll spend the night.
Evening offers a chance to engage with your Red Dao host, participate in cooking dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay in a stilt-house.
Day 2: More Trek Suoi Thau – Gia Thau – Kim Ngan – Ta Giang Phinh – Sapa ~ 12 Km (B/L)
Morning Activities:
Rise early to the lively sounds of mountain creatures. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea during breakfast with the family, then trek around Suoi Thau village, delving Ta Phin into the daily life and work of the Red Dao people.
Continue your trek to Gia Thau village, relishing the expansive views of magnificent terrace rice fields. Hike to Kim Ngan village for a picnic lunch, offering scenic vistas of rice fields and village life.
Afternoon Activities:
Embark on a delightful trek to Ta Giang Phinh village along the uphill footpath, providing ample opportunities to appreciate the spectacular rice fields and the iconic Buddha’s Hand Mountain.
