Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Trek To Ban Ho Village. Overnight Stay At Homestay In Ban Ho Village (L/D)

Commencing Activities

Embark on your adventure as our guide and driver fetch you from your Hanoi hotel at 08:00. Bid farewell to the bustling city as we head to Sapa, a scenic five-hour drive that brings us to a local Sapa restaurant for lunch around midday.

Post-Lunch Exploration

Following lunch, we journey to Su Pan for a distinctive trekking experience to Ban Ho, amidst picturesque landscapes of rice paddies and mountains. Two hours into the trek, we reach a Tay village by a stream in Ban Ho. Immerse yourself in cultural exchanges with the village families, savoring local hospitality over dinner. Spend the night in a Ban Ho homestay.

 

 

 

Day 2: Full Day Trek – Thanh Phu – Thanh Kim – Lao Chai – Ta Van. Overnight Stay At Hotel In Sapa (B/L)

Morning Endeavors

After a hearty breakfast at the homestay, bid adieu to your friendly hosts and embark on a trek from Ban Ho to the less-traveled villages of Thanh Kim and Thanh Phu, inhabited by the Dzao and Day ethnic minorities. Revel in the beauty of unspoiled landscapes, enjoying a picnic lunch along the trek.

Afternoon Pursuits

Following lunch, a 30-minute drive takes us to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, where terraced rice fields, belonging to the Black H’mong people, await your appreciation. Take a leisurely walk through the villages before returning to Sapa Town in the late afternoon. Overnight at a Sapa hotel.

 

 

Day 3: Sapa – Ba Be National Park. Overnight Stay At Homestay In Ba Be (B/L/D)

Morning Excursions

Embark on an amazing day after breakfast, commencing our journey from Sapa to Ba Be National Park. Traverse the mountainous Ha Giang region, with a stop in Bac Me to relish village views, rice terraced fields, and a local market. Lunch at a roadside stall precedes our drive through the Na Hang Nature Reserve, concluding the day in Ba Be in the late afternoon. Receive a warm welcome from the local hosts in Coc Toc village, where dinner and an overnight stay await.

Afternoon Adventures

While most of the day is spent driving, the diverse landscapes compensate for it. Arrive in Ba Be, greeted by the local hosts, and spend the night in Coc Toc village.

 

 

Day 4: Full Day Trek In Ba Be National Park Area. Overnight Stay At Homestay In Ba Be (B/L/D)

Morning Discovery

Following breakfast at the homestay, embark on a trek through the enchanting forests of Ba Be to visit welcoming villages. Begin at Coc Toc Village, where the Tay people earn a living from lake fishing. Cross Pelu stream and navigate challenging terrain to reach a vantage point offering stunning park views. Pause for a picnic lunch in a H’mong ethnic village.

Afternoon Explorations

Continue the journey through vast mountain ranges and valleys, passing stilt houses and schools of the Dzao people. Visit another H’mong ethnic village before returning to the homestay for dinner and another night.

 

 

Day 5: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi (B/L)

Morning Water Expedition

Bid farewell to your friendly local hosts after breakfast, then walk to Bo Lu Harbour. Board a boat for a three-hour peaceful cruise on Ba Be Lake, offering picturesque views of mountains, valleys, and natural caves. Take a refreshing swim if you desire and pass through the Puong Cave tunnel with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites, possibly spotting bats.

Afternoon Journey
