Itinerary Details
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa By Limousine Bus – Cat Cat Village & Ham Rong Mountain. Overnight in Sapa (L)
Embarking on the Journey:
Commence your adventure as our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Set forth on the journey to Sapa, arriving at this enchanting destination where you’ll indulge in lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon & Evening Explorations:
Embark on an exploration of the wild and spectacular scenery of Ham Rong Mountain, visiting the Indochina Orchid Garden adorned with a myriad of colors and varieties. Passing through Heaven Gate 1 and Sky Gate 2, reach the pinnacle of Ham Rong, known as the May Yard, offering a breathtaking intersection of sky and earth, unveiling the entire panorama of Sapa town below. Descending the mountain, relish a captivating music and dance performance by ethnic artists from the H’Mong and Dzao communities.
Proceed to Cat Cat Village to delve into the daily life of the H’Mong ethnic people, visiting the Tien Sa Waterfall, and enjoying a traditional performance at the old hydroelectric plant. The evening is yours to wander freely around Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van Trek. Homestay Ta Van (B/L/D)
Morning Exploration:
Embark on a trek to Lao Chai – Ta Van village, situated approximately 7 km from Sapa town. This commune is home to over 100 households of the Black H’Mong ethnic group, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains and terraced fields. As you journey to the village, marvel at the extensive layers of terraced fields resembling long staircases, adorned with a golden hue from the ripening fruit, creating a profoundly poetic ambiance.
Upon reaching the village, your guide will lead you on a walk to Lao Chai village, characterized by low stilt houses, enclosed fields, and refreshing, airy surroundings. Immerse yourself in nature, leaving behind the worries and sorrows of everyday life, finding peace and rejuvenation in this serene haven.
Afternoon Explorations:
Following the exploration of Lao Chai village, enjoy lunch before descending to Ta Van village, home to around 40 households of the Giay ethnic group and a small number of other ethnic communities. The Giay people have a settled lifestyle, preferring lowland areas near rivers and streams for wet rice cultivation, while the H’Mong people favor elevated regions for growing maize, cassava, and upland rice.
Ta Van is positioned in front of the Muong Hoa stream, with the Hoang Lien Son mountain range as its backdrop. Conveniently located, it serves as a gateway to various renowned tourist destinations in Sapa. Overnight in a homestay in Ta Van.
Day 3: Ta Van – Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Tram Ton – Afternoon: Bus Back to Hanoi
Morning Adventures:
Embark on a drive as the tour guide takes you to the Silver Waterfall resort, situated at an altitude of 1,900m above sea level. Traverse a valley adorned with red roses and green rubber trees to reach the Silver Falls resort, where a magnificent waterfall, as white as silver, awaits amid the natural splendor.
Witness a salmon farm, observing the growth stages from tiny ones to those reaching 4-5 kg, and even sturgeon exceeding 20kg.
The bus will transport you to Tram Ton, known as the Gate of Heaven, at the summit of this pass. Part of National Highway 4D, it meanders like a serpent between the majestic Hoang Lien Son range. From the pass’s zenith, marvel at the entirety of Muong Hoa Valley and Fansipan peak on clear days.
Afternoon Adventures:
Indulge in lunch at a local restaurant, bid farewell to Sapa, and board the limousine bus for the return journey to Hanoi. Anticipate arrival in Hanoi around 19:00 pm, concluding your enjoyable time in Sapa with us!
