Itinerary details

Day 1 Ninh Binh 1 day.

07h30 – 8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the limousine transfer to Ninh Binh.

09h15: The limousine stops on the way for a 15 – 20 minutes short break for you to stretch your legs, use the facilities, or have a quick snack.

10h30: The limousine arrives in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from the years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of King Dinh and King Le and learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

11h45: It is time for a buffet lunch to enjoy local specialties in the private area of our Ninh Binh Heritage restaurant. The vegetarian option is also available.

13h00: Continue your trip to Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. While you’re there you can spend 2 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which owns a wonderful tunnel cave system and appears in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”.

15h00: It’s time you get on the bicycle to ride around the local village and discover how amazing life is for the local people here.

15h45: Your next destination is Mua Cave, also known as the “Great Wall of China” in Vietnam. From the foot of the mountain, you can climb 500 steps to reach the mountain’s peak from where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the city and Tam Coc below.

17h00: Take taxi to hotel – check in and relax

Overnight in Ninh Binh

Day 2 Ninh Binh leisure day.

Day 3 Ninh Binh to Ha Long – Halong cruise 2 days 1 night.

Morning, make check out and ready in lobby at 7h00 am, Limousine bus come to pick up, transfer to Halong

After 4 hours ride, reach Habor and make check in

11:30 – 11:45 Tuan Chau International Cruise Port.

You will be presented at Tuan Chau International Port (Navigation: Here), where Grand Pioneers Cruise staff will welcome and assist with check-in procedures.

12:30 Check-in

You will check in at the Reception, on the first floor.

13:00 – 14:30 Enjoy the welcome drinks and have lunch

Enjoy our welcome drink and be introduced about theitinerary and safety policies. Lunch will be served in the Dining By The Bay restaurant

15:30 – 16:30 Explore the Sung Sot Cave

The transfer boat and the team of Grand Pioneers Cruise staff will take you to the Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, discovered by a group of French explorers in 1901.

*For the guest who do not get involved in experience activities: You can enjoy our services on the cruise including spa & massage, 4-season pool, cigar & lounge, kid clubs, ect.

17:30 – 18:30 Sunset & Happy Hour time

Enjoy the best moments of the day as the sun hits the water between the dramatic limestone peaks and emerald- green coves, choose and savor Canapé and your favorite drink offerings at the Sky bar.

19:00 Dinner at Restaurant

Tantalize your taste buds with a selection of Western and Vietnamese cuisine.

21:00 After dinner

After dinner, chill out in your suite; pamper yourself at spa; experience squid fishing back of the boat on the first floor; or spend time with your fellow companions at our cigar and wine lounge, karaoke club, skybar or the pool bar.

Day 4 Halong back to Hanoi – transfer to Ha Giang.

05:30 – 06:00 Amazing sunrise time

Enjoy the magnificent sunrise across Heritage Bay, immerse yourself in the sound of waves and be ready for a chill and fresh day.

06:00 – 6:30 Meditation on Sundeck

Start your new day full of energy with meditation exercises that help balance and regenerate energy or fitness exercises at the gym on the cruise ship.

06:30 – 07:30 Light breakfast

A light breakfast will be served in the restaurant.

07:30 – 08:30 Visit the Luon cave by a bamboo boat

Our speed boat will transport you to Luon Cave – the best destination for visiting by rowing bamboo boat, located on the north-eastern part of Bo Hon Island.

09:00-09:30 Check out and payment at our reception

Check out and payment extra service fee at our Reception Desk on the first floor. Leave your luggage outside the door.

09:00-10:30 Enjoy brunch buffet at the restaurant

Enjoy the brunch buffet on the cruise while continuing the journey back to the port.

10:45 Get back to the Grand Pioneers Lounge

Cruise back to the Grand Pioneers Cruise port.

11:30 – 12h15 Start your trip back to Hanoi

Arrive back in Hanoi approximately

Reach Hanoi after 3 hours drive, drop you in Hanoi bus station

You can leave luggage in bus office

Go around and come back before 19h00

19h30 check in VIP CABIN sleeper bus – take 7 hours to Ha Giang

Day 5 Ha Giang Loop.

Reach Hanoi around 3-4 am, drop in Ha Giang hotel – check in and relax

Morning have breakfast, make check out and leave luggage in lobby store (please prepare 1 small bag to carry things for 4 days)

8h30 – 9h00 start the journey 

-Check in: KMO in Ha Giang city- Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Stopover to see Quan Ba twin Mountain, Tam Son Town, Lung Khuy Cave

and have lunch in Tam Son Town.

-14pm:  After passing Can Ty pass, check in some beautiful spots, lonely trees, Van Chai cliff, some some beautiful villages.

– 17pm arrive in Yen Minh town, check in for a homestay, dinner and rest.

Day 6 Ha Giang loops.

– 8:30 am: After breakfast we will depart and check in Tham Ma Pass , Pho Cao village, Sung La valley.

-10 am : Visit the mansion of the Vuong family (King of the Hmong people): Coming here, you will truly admire the life and culture of the H’Mong people. In the late afternoon, under the last sunlight of the day, you will get the most authentic experience of the architectural exchange of three cultures: H’Mong, French, and Chinese.

-12h : Have lunch.

14pm : Check in Lung Cu flag pole this is  northernmost point of Vietnam,Chinese Boder , Lo Lo Chai cultural village. -Visit the Northernmost point in Vietnam, a quite special place, the northernmost point on the S-shaped map of Vietnam, 3km from the Valley Cu flagpole. 

-17h:  Check in hotel, homestay and rest 

-19:30: Dinner, then free to walk around Dong Van old town, to enjoy street food at Dong Van old town night market.

Day 7 Ha Giang loops.

-8:30 am: After breakfast, we will visit the legendary Happiness Road, the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the beautiful Nho Que River.

  Check in: The stop at the Ma Pi Leng monument, the dangerous road to Death’s snout and Dinosaur’s spine, walking on the sky parth, you will see the entire scene at the foot of the pass. Panorama viewing point and a few beautiful check-in points at the top of the pass.

– Take a boat on the Nho Que River to see the highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia, a natural masterpiece that can only be found in Ha Giang

-12:30: Have lunch at Meo Vac Town. Then continue the journey from Meo Vac town to Du Gia, the road has beautiful views with many winding roads with endless valleys, on the way check in: M pass shooting location, Mau Due, Lung Ho. -17:00: Arrive at Du Gia commune center, check in at a local homestay in the Du Gia village, enjoy dinner with Tay cuisine, and drink corn wine that we happily named “happy water”

Day 8: Ha Giang Loop – Transfer to Sapa.

-8:30 am: After breakfast, we will walk around the village, go bathe in Du Gia waterfall, 

– then departing back to Ha Giang city.

-On the way stopping to admire and visit some beautiful scenes: the valley Duong Thuong, Visit Lung Tam weaving village,

We have lunch at Tam Son town – Quan Ba and return to Ha Giang city at around 4:00 pm, 

We can take shower, rest at Hostel and take the bus to Sapa at 18h00
