PROJECT SUMMARY: FLOOD RELIEF SUPPORT FOR CENTRAL VIETNAM – PHU YEN PROVINCE

In recent months, Central Vietnam, particularly Phu Yen Province has suffered severe impacts from consecutive storms and flooding, causing significant loss of life, property, and livelihoods. In response to this urgent situation, we initiated and implemented a community-driven fundraising and direct relief project to support affected families during their most difficult time.

This project was guided by the principles of transparency, direct action, and long-term impact, prioritizing the most severely affected communities, remote areas, and households facing exceptional hardship.

(Fourteen million one hundred eighty-three thousand seven hundred and eleven Vietnamese dong)

Note:
The remaining balance will be updated and transferred to support additional households in difficult circumstances who have not yet received assistance. This balance exists due to the fact that some funds were not fully disbursed during the recent distribution and additional donations were received afterward. We will continue to provide transparent updates once these funds are allocated.

All disbursements were:

  • Delivered directly to beneficiaries
  • Fully documented with recipient signatures
  • Verified by local government authorities

This ensured accountability, transparency, and donor trust throughout the project.

6. REMAINING FUNDS & UPCOMING UPDATES

As of the publication of this project summary, the majority of funds raised have been successfully disbursed directly to affected communities as outlined above.

Any remaining balance (if applicable) will be:

  • Clearly calculated and publicly updated on this page
  • Reserved strictly for follow-up support or future community-based relief projects
  • Used only after careful assessment and coordination with local authorities and community leaders

We are committed to providing ongoing updates to our supporters. These updates will include:

  • Final financial reconciliation (total received vs. total disbursed)
