Itinerary Details

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Thon Tha

 Your adventure begins at 7:30 AM when your guide and driver pick you up right from your hotel lobby. By early afternoon, you’ll arrive at the charming Thon Tha village around 1:30 PM. A delicious home-cooked lunch awaits at a local homestay, where you’ll get a taste of authentic village life. After settling into your cozy Tay-style bungalow, take a relaxing walk around the serene village, soaking in the peaceful vibes and stunning mountain scenery. End your day in comfort, surrounded by the warmth of traditional culture.

Day 2: Thon Tha – Khuoi My Village Full-Day Trek

Start your morning like a local! If you’re up for it, join the villagers in their daily routines—feeding the animals, gardening, or even helping with breakfast. After enjoying your own hearty breakfast, set off on an unforgettable trek through lush valleys and up the scenic mountain paths that connect Thon Tha to Khuoi My. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the unique Dao Ao Dai culture.

As you reach Khuoi My village, nestled at the foot of Northeast Vietnam’s tallest mountain, pause for a picnic lunch or, if you’re lucky, dine with a local family. After a refreshing break, continue your trek back to Thon Tha, taking in the beauty and calm of the surroundings. In the evening, you can request a traditional cultural show (optional, extra fee). Rest up in your cozy bungalow, ready for the adventures ahead!

Day 3: Thon Tha – Quan Ba – Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van

Get ready for an unforgettable day packed with breathtaking views and cultural discoveries! After breakfast, bid farewell to your lovely hosts and hit the legendary “Happiness Road.” Along the way, your guide will share the enchanting story behind Quan Ba’s Twin Mountains and Heaven’s Gate.

Stop at Lung Tam village to explore its unique embroidery cooperative, where local women skillfully craft beautiful hemp textiles and handmade products. Then, journey onward to Meo Vac and treat yourself to the jaw-dropping scenery of Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most iconic landscapes.

If daylight allows, take a short trek along the Sky Path for a bird’s-eye view of this incredible region. End your adventurous day with a cozy overnight stay in a hotel in Dong Van town, ready to dream of more wonders ahead.

Day 4: Dong Van – H’Mong King Palace – Sung La – Nam Dam

In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive at Nam Dam village, where you’ll check into a traditional Dao-style homestay. Take some free time to wander the village, visit local families, or discover the nearby waterfall. Relax and unwind for the night in the warmth of Dao hospitality.

Day 5: Nam Dam – Lung Khuy Cave – Hanoi 

Your final day in Ha Giang begins with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for one last adventure. Today, we’ll explore the hidden gem of Lung Khuy Cave, a newly discovered marvel in the region. The trek to the cave is about 1.2 km with some uphill stairs—a bit of a workout, but the stunning formations inside make it absolutely worth the effort!

After soaking in the beauty of Lung Khuy, we’ll head back to the car and bid farewell to this legendary land. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic drive back to Hanoi, where your tour concludes around 5:30 PM. It’s been an unforgettable journey, and we hope the memories will stay with you forever!
