Itinerary Details

Night 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang City

At 7:30 PM, our sleeper bus will pick you up from your hotel or hostel in Hanoi. Get comfortable, settle in, and let the journey begin! As we cruise through the night, you can rest up before the adventure ahead. By 4:00 AM, we’ll arrive in Ha Giang, where you’ll check into hostel/homestay for a few hours of rest before hitting the road.

DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – THAI AN – DUONG THUONG – DU GIA 95KM

-08:00 – 08:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your tour guide will give a brief introduction to the itinerary and help you secure your luggage on the motorbike.

-09:00: Begin your Ha Giang Loop adventure.

-Overnight in Du Gia at a traditional Tay ethnic homestay, where you’ll experience authentic local hospitality and enjoy a delicious dinner featuring regional specialties. Relax in the peaceful mountain surroundings, bringing another unforgettable day of exploring the Ha Giang Loop to a perfect close.

DAY 2: YEN MINH – THAM MA PASS -LUNG CU – CHINA BORDER – DONG VAN TOWN

-08:00 – 8:30 enjoy breakfast at the homestay.

-After breakfast, begin your second day of exploring the Ha Giang Loop and discover some of the region’s most spectacular highlights.

-Sa Ly Pass – Stop to admire breathtaking panoramic views of the magnificent terraced rice fields, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Ha Giang.

-M Road Pass – Visit the famous winding road shaped like the letter “M”, a symbol of good luck, good health, and a safe journey according to local tradition.

-Continue to Meo Vac Town for lunch, where you’ll enjoy authentic local cuisine before continuing the afternoon’s adventure.

-After lunch, continue your adventure to the breathtaking Nho Que River and enjoy a boat cruise through the magnificent Tu San Canyon. Known as one of the deepest canyons in Southeast Asia, the emerald-green river winds through towering limestone cliffs, creating one of the most spectacular landscapes in Vietnam. The boat trip lasts approximately one
hour, giving you plenty of time to admire the incredible scenery and capture unforgettable photos.

DAY 3: DONG VAN TOWN – LUNG CU – LO LO CHAI VILLAGE – YEN MINH 95KM

-08:00 – 08:30: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay before setting off to begin Day 3 of your Ha Giang Loop adventure. Get ready to discover more spectacular mountain scenery, peaceful villages, and unforgettable experiences along the way.

-Departure to Lung Cu Flag Tower, located at an altitude of 1,470 meters above sea level, marking the northernmost point of Vietnam. The 54 m2 national flag flying at the top symbolizes the unity of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups

➢ Visit Lo Lo Chai Village, a picturesque traditional village at the northernmost point of Vietnam. Stroll through its charming stone houses, experience the local culture, and capture beautiful photos in this fairy-tale-like setting.

-Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at a local family-run restaurant, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste authentic regional specialties prepared by local people.

• Visit the remarkable Moon surface, one of the geological wonders located in the core zone of the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark. This extraordinary landscape features millions of ancient limestone formations, offering a fascinating glimpse into the region’s geological history and making it a perfect stop for photography.

• Continue to the famous Nine-Turn Pass, renowned for its dramatic hairpin bends and spectacular mountain scenery.

• Stop at Tham Ma Pass, one of the most iconic mountain passes on the Ha Giang Loop, where you can admire breathtaking panoramic views and capture unforgettable photos.

• Continue to Yen Minh, where you’ll check in to your homestay, relax after an exciting day of exploration, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming mountain town.

DAY 4 : YEN MINH – LUNG TAM village –  QUAN BA –BAC SUM PASS – HA GIANG CITY

-08:00 – 08:30: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay before setting off on the final day of your Ha Giang Loop adventure.

– After breakfast, continue your journey with several memorable stops:

– Yen Minh Viewpoint – Take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the peaceful valleys and surrounding mountains.

– Can Ty Pass – Drive through one of Ha Giang’s most scenic mountain passes, surrounded by spectacular limestone landscapes.

-Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village – Visit a traditional Hmong village renowned for its handmade hemp (linen) weaving. Learn about the centuries-old craftsmanship and the process of creating beautiful textiles using traditional techniques.

• Lunch in Tam Son Town, where you’ll enjoy delicious local specialties.
• Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, one of the best viewpoints in Ha Giang, offering magnificent views over the Tam Son Valley and the surrounding mountains.
• Cross the scenic Bac Sum Pass, marking the final mountain pass of your adventure.
• Your Ha Giang Loop tour concludes at approximately 4:00 PM upon arrival in Ha Giang City, where you can relax before boarding your return bus or continuing your journey.
